The accommodations were clean and spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the outside porch immensely.
What an amazing experience my family and I had staying at the Riverisde Retreat and fishing with Chris. He's a very knowledgeable guide and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their trips with him. He didn't disappoint! The boys caught Loafs of fish and had an amazing time. I can't say enough kind words about our time there and Chris and Carol's hospitality! The property is peaceful and quaint - just a perfect get-away all around. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic get away! Cabin is really VERY nice and in a beautiful setting. Screened back porch is private and relaxing. Chris is so helpful and accommodating and we had a great time on our guided fishing trip despite the rain! We are headed back very soon.

My wife and I spent three nights in Creekside cabin and fished two days with Chris.
12 of our family members stayed at White River Riverside Retreat for a week in July. We had the most enjoyable experience for a little reunion / vacation and it was made even better by the hospitality given to us by Chris and his wife Carol. Everything was clean and neat on arrival and ready for us to not have any worries. 2 members of our family spent a day with Chris fly fishing and continue to rave about how much they enjoyed the day. There are quite a few attractions in the area that Chris is well versed on and gave us info when we asked. We have stayed at several VRBOs and other resorts but by far this one surpasses the quality of service and attention to details. We all would give the highest recommendation for staying here!
I have been visiting Riverside Retreat two to three times a year for the past eight years. I fish with Chris Jackson 8 to 10 maybe 12 times a year now great place to stay and a super guide.
We have use a couple dozen guides over the years and are good judges of good versus mediocre guides. Chris is in the top top tier. There are very few guides who are willing to expend the energy and have the expertise to be good instructors. We rate our guides on whether or not we learn a new skill not necessarily how many fish we caught. Chris was an excellent teacher. Consequently as our skills improved and we caught more fish. On top of this Chris is a very friendly and patient individual.
