Steve McMcumber is a deadbeat father, that was contacted by me his son of 34 years old that only wants answers refuses to even speak to me, my mother raised me on her own sometimes working multi jobs to make it. His son my half brother runs this place for him and does as he says like a lap dog, if you want a place of real family you values might looks else where. In my opinion greed is all you find here, also refused to talk about hosting a event for wounded veterans, sad I share blood with them.
The White River is probably one of the best kept secrets in Arkansas. My husband and I celebrated our 44th anniversary here at this resort. The cabin was clean, but felt outdated..but, it was a "fisherman's dream" to be so close to the White River. We had little contact with the people who ran the resort, which was okay since we were in our own element. Just wish the bed was a bit more comfortable and the bedding was newer, next time I will take my own sheets and blanket. I gave it a 4 because it is a perfect setting for a romantic get away.
This is our 8th yr. Greatest people and best cabins on the river. U will be impressed
The service was great. The rooms are very good. The guide got us our limit of trout. Just an overall fantastic time. Thanks to Steve and his staff for their professional and personal touch.
